 Aaron, Matthew, Stephen Virginia and Megan Matthew Mote has a pastor’s heart. At the age of 6, he realized that ministry was his path. At 10, he shared his vision with his favorite Sunday school teacher at his father’s church. Since that time, he has learned to share God’s love and reach out to the community. |
Matthew and Ginny's passion is to grow the Church by nurturing the hearts and souls of fellow Christians, sharing Jesus with those who do not know him, and bringing salvation into the darkness.
Matthew graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in Speech and Communications in 1984. From there, he went on to Asbury Theological Seminary, where he met Ginny, his future wife. Matt and Ginny married in 1987, shortly after Ginny graduated with a BA in Christian Ministries. Matthew completed his Master of Divinity in 1988 from Asbury. Since that time, Matthew and Ginny have been ministering in the Free Methodist Church. They moved to San Antonio in 1994, where they have been at Heritage Free Methodist Church. They are raising three children, Stephen (15), Aaron (11), and Megan (5). |
